Trait Crystals unlock milestones. Stat Tokens reroll stats at a different station. The two currencies are not interchangeable in any guide I read.
I separated the trait station from the stat station because the codes pages pay both Trait Crystals and Stat Tokens, and mixing them up is how a redeem note becomes useless. The card rankings stay on the trait tier page.

What the guides actually separate
Trait Crystals are allocated to a unit to unlock a choice of traits at milestones, according to Pro Game Guides and Grindnstrat. These articles describe selection rather than a random trait roll. Pro Game Guides and Grindnstrat print 10, 30, 100, and 400. A community wiki also prints 500 for mythic and says the panel has shown 500. The disagreement remains unresolved; the 500 value is a community report, not an official cap.
Stat Tokens are spent at the stat reroll station. Stat Locks are described as locking a line. No guide publishes the lock rules in full, so this page does not invent a lock count.
Which card to keep is on the trait tier list. Both trait articles recommend Galactic; this is an editorial recommendation. Chosen and Bounty Hunter have conflicting community descriptions.
