I split the official sentence from the walkthrough numbers. Bigger rewards is the description. The gold and trait counts are one site. No modifier list was found in the sources reviewed.

Use the number with the label
If you are deciding whether Nightmare is worth a second clear, the only printed payout is that walkthrough figure. Story mode on the same page is described as five worlds, five acts, and ten waves. Those structure counts are also from that walkthrough, not from the Roblox description.
Team advice in tier lists still applies: a farm unit plus the S carries. There is no Nightmare-only loadout with a second source. Community pages describe five team/loadout slots; that does not establish a five-unit limit on simultaneous map placements.
